SUNSET ON THE BASIN NO.2 — November 6, 2007

Nikon D200: 12mm, 1/13, f/8

  1. It is a pity the power lines cut through this otherwise beautiful capture of serene nature.

  2. I kind of like the power lines, although it did cut through the composition, it added a sense of our footprint on the area.

  3. I really like the power lines here and, if I have the permission, comparing with the last photo it adds an important element to the composition. Also, the grass on the bottom really enhances the photo.
If it wasn’t for the power lines, the photo would be too symmetric and a bit boring, as it is the photo before this one.

  4. The power lines don’t bother me - I’m drawn in by the pink hues.

  7. don’t like the power lines, having them there transforms the surreal background to a domestic setting, which I feel ruins the mood.

  9. Lovely colors and sunset! I like the powerlines, because I find the juxtaposition of nature/technology quite interesting…

  11. great shot. love the powerlines. i think they add to the composition & movement in the shot and make it stick out among others.
